Two experiences. One rule that connects them that most people don't know about until it's too late. If you're planning to do both Skydive Dubai and Deep Dive Dubai on the same trip - and you should - the order matters. Get it wrong and you're risking decompression sickness. This guide covers what each one actually costs in 2026, which dropzone to choose, and exactly how to sequence them.
1. Skydive Dubai: The Gravity Gambit
Skydive Dubai remains the most iconic aerial experience on the planet. There are two dropzones. They're very different experiences - here's how to pick.

The Palm Dropzone: The Iconic Flex
This is the jump you see on social media. You jump directly over the Palm Jumeirah with views of the supercar rental routes from above.
- 2026 Pricing: Expect to pay between 2,449 AED and 2,749 AED for a tandem jump.
- The Package: This includes medical insurance, high-definition photos, and a professionally edited video.
- Why it matters: it is almost always booked out three weeks in advance. Book at least three weeks out, it fills up fast
The Desert Dropzone: The Pure Adrenaline Choice

Located on the Al Ain road, this dropzone offers a more authentic skydiving feel over rolling dunes.
- 2026 Pricing: Typically ranges from 1,899 AED to 2,199 AED.
- Why it matters: It is more budget-friendly and generally has better availability. If pure freefall is the point and the Palm view doesn't matter to you, this is the better choice - cheaper and easier to book
2. Deep Dive Dubai: The Sunken City
At 60 meters, it's the deepest man-made diving pool in the world.
The Sunken City Experience
The pool contains 14 million liters of fresh water and features a post-apocalyptic city. You can explore underwater pool tables, cars, and even a library.
- Discovery Scuba (Non-Certified): Starts at 1,800 AED. You dive to 12 meters with an instructor.
- Certified Divers: Ranges from 1,200 AED to 1,500 AED depending on depth.
- The Platinum Package: At 3,000 AED, your group gets a private instructor, a full media package, and a behind-the-scenes tour.
3. The Critical No-Fly Rule
This is the most important logistical detail of your trip. In 2026, Dubai authorities are extremely strict about the physiological risks of pressure changes.
- The Rule: After diving at Deep Dive Dubai, you must wait at least 18 to 24 hours before going to high altitude. This includes skydiving or even visiting a lounge at the top of the Burj Khalifa.
- The Risk: Decompression sickness (the bends).
- The Plan: Schedule your Skydive for Day 1 and your Deep Dive for Day 3. This gives your body time to off-gas nitrogen safely.
4. Integrating the Full Dubai Experience
f you did the Palm Dropzone, Zero Gravity beach club is a 5-minute walk - it's a natural next stop to decompress. If you did the Desert Dropzone, you'll be on the Al Ain road so plan a ride back - it's about 45 minutes from Downtown
5. Logistics: Requirements & Weight Limits
Skydive Dubai and Deep Dive Dubai have strict Safety Baselines. Do not ignore these, or you will lose your deposit.
Skydive Requirements (2026)
- Weight/BMI: For men, the limit is 100kg and a BMI of 30.0 or less. They will weigh you with your shoes on.
- Age: You must be 18+ years old.
- Documents: A physical Passport or Emirates ID is mandatory.
Deep Dive Requirements
- Health Declaration: You must fill out a medical form. If you have asthma or heart issues, you need a doctor's clearance.
- Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours before your dive.
One last thing: both of these need to be booked well in advance, not the day before. Skydive Dubai especially sells out weeks ahead during peak season (November–March). Sort the booking before you fly in, not after you land.
